~Part One Meeting again~

“Why is the wrong face Phoenix?” Dagger bends forward to take a better look at your gloomy face. “You can’t go on stage tonight looking like a kicked puppy.” he pulled the corners of your mouth upwards to make you smile. You slapped his hands away standing off the crate you was sitting on. “How can I smile when I feel part of my soul somewhere out there. It reminds me I am no longer human.” You felt a skeleton hand rest on your shoulder and turned your head to meet eyes with Joker. “Neither of us is normal, yet we still smile.” He smiled and pulled a lollypop from his sleeve and gave it to you. “Cheer up!” You took it and force a smile on your lips. As hard as your life is you still have people who care for you and cheer you up when you are down. “Thank you!” you unwrap the candy and popped it in your mouth heading for the main tent to practice before tonight’s show. You don’t want to waste all the time you have sulking. “Phoenix, as I said you are just as human as we are.  You have more humanity in you than most humans out there. So don’t think low of yourself.” Joker words echoed behind you as you enter the tent. It was true you never looked down on anyone and you were always willing to protect others. Yet of course you were a little selfish sometimes, but who isn’t. He was coming, the demon who turned you to a demon yourself. But this time you have a feeling it was not you he was after. “Whatever you are after I will stop you of all means necessary.” You mutter under your breath as you made your way to the center of the ring.

When the night arrives you felt even more nervous than earlier. You felt anxious all of a sudden and you had no idea why. The time to step out came and you heard Joker welcoming words to the audience before you and the rest of the performers came out all together before the show starts. You took a look at the audience and each person aura surrounding them. One aura in particular caught your eye. It was black aura reminding you painfully to the one of the demon from that dreadful night. You tried to push the thought aside, but it was not easy knowing he is watching from the crowd. You hardly concentrate on your act nearly dropping the flaming Hula Hoop in your hands. Those ruby red eyes were watching your every move and made you feel uneasy. When it was over you sighed in relive bowing to the audience before practically fleeing behind the curtains. Though you wanted to hide you still remain near the stage watching the rest of the acts. It came as a shock to you when that tall figure in black came out on the stage and approached Betty. Your jaw dropped when he petted the tiger talking sweetly to her. Betty however was not too happy and bites on his head. You instantly run out on stage calling Betty. She let go of his head and run happily over to you. “Bad kitty Betty!” you scolded her and she dropped her ears lying down in your feet. You knew Beast will punish her later for it that is why you went easy on her patting her head. When you looked up the man in black was standing right in front of you smiling wide. You thought at first he will continue admiring the tiger, but instead he grabs your hand and kissed it. “You are quite impressive I am very intrigued.” He smirked when your face went completely red. You pulled your hand away and run back behind the curtains without so much as saying anything back. You knew it was rude, but you were too embarrassed to think straight right at this moment. You didn’t stop until you reached your tent your heart about to burst out of your chest.  

You waited until the show was over before you went to find Beast and talk to her. She always gives you good advices when you need one. When you approached the Infirmary you heard a commotion from inside. You walk in to see Dagger throwing his daggers at the man in black, who dodged them and jump on the metal railing holding the tent. Dagger pulls another set of daggers to throw, but you grabbed his hand stopping him. “That is enough Dagger, I will handle this.” you said before approaching the railing the guy stood on. Before you could say anything you felt a pair of lips on your own. You never realized when he jumps down. But what had your mind occupied is the fact he is kissing you and the feel of his tongue touching yours. When he pulls back he licks his lips. “My, your mouth is hot like a Furness.” He exclaim smiling sweetly at you. Another set of daggers fly his direction, but he coughed them with one hand expertly. “I get that I can’t touch him either.” Beast swings her whip at him furious. “How dare you kiss  big brother Phoenix without his permission you pervert!?” she yelled when he simply dodges her attack. Joker finally interferes preventing further damage of the tent. “That is enough Beast!” he stated making a bouquet of flowers appear in his hand and gave it to her. “You can’t blame him for wanting to touch your fare skin. Any man will be tempted to. As for Phoenix he is quite a charmer I am not surprised this man here was so straight forward with him.” You looked at the stranger who stills smiled at you ignoring the rest of the noises around you. “You are not a human, I can tell that much.” you told him telepathically to which his expression changed.  “You are not one either and I am certain you still remember me, but in a different form.” he responded that same sinister smile appeared on his lips. Now there was no doubt it was him, the demon who took your soul. His attention left you and he starts a conversation with Joker. He obviously intended to join the circus which means you will see him every day. Before he left the tent he looked at you and smile. “My name is Sebastian by the way. I look forward to work with you.” He winks before he was gone. Your face was so red you thought it is on fire. “That bastard, how dare he flirt so shamelessly with our big brother?” Dagger yelled clenching his fists. Beast looked like she is ready to kill someone. They both were too over protective of you sometimes wondered who is the eldest one here.  Sighing you left the tent heading for your own. You were too tired and all you wanted was to sleep. But long time passed before sleep overcomes you, followed by dreams of Sebastian.
